From Design to Sample to Production

Those who think creatively find better solutions. Our tooling and machinery builders optimize production through their own developments with our machinery. Our engineers’ skill is highlighted when they realize an individual customer’s needs. Furthermore, Schock’s tooling construction, along with our research and development teams, compliment each other.

When it has to be perfect, we build the machines ourselves.

A prerequisite for a flawless system is the perfect assembly of the individual components. To make sure all slide profiles, ball cages, and precision ball bearings are in tune with one another, Schock uses internally developed assembly machines.

Investment in qualified teams.

The only way to meet our goal for a high level of long term performance, is with assistance from qualified and motivated employees. At Schock, we invest in the education and training for our employees. In southern Germany for example, Schock implemented its “hybrid mechanic” training program. Today, after a 3 ½ year training course, our personnel qualify as tooling and industrial mechanics.

Prototypes within a few days.

The Schock sample construction department creates the first duplicate pieces and prototypes for new system solutions. By request, our customers can receive the first functioning design of their new guidance system within a few days.
